Kitchens in Italy have always been extremely important, & the traditional finish is catalysed PU due not only to its excellent chemical & physical resistance but also the warm look, flexibility, clarity & non-yellowing characteristics. Clean modern looks or stains, glazes & a multitude of antiquing effects are common, as can be seen in the next slide of the gallery. Many Italian kitchens are now also done with catalysed water borne polyurethanes or mixed cycles.
